چکیده

A dielectric measurement for the aqueous solutions at lower frequencies (20Hz to 2MHz) has been carried out in frequency domain using Agilient Precision LCR meter (E4980A). The dielectric permittivity spectra of over entire concentrations with aqueous solutions are measured at 25 ̊C. From observed spectra, static dielectric constants (ε0) have been determined. Dielectric Spectroscopy is especially sensitive to intermolecular interactions. Therefore some parameters like Excess dielectric constant (ε0E) and Kirkwood correlation factor (geff) have been calculated from static dielectric constants of the mixture constituents. Using these parameters hetero molecular interaction, ordering of the like and unlike molecules and the effective dipole moments of the aqueous solutions has been discussed. The maxima of ε0E at particular concentrations of binary mixtures suggest the formation of stable complex structure. Key Words— Precision LCR meter, Static dielectric constant, Excess dielectric constant, Kirkwood correlation factor. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Dielectric dispersion in aqueous solutions of oxyhaemoglobin and carboxyhaemoglobin.

The relative permittivity and conductivity of aqueous solutions of oxyhaemoglobin and carboxyhaemoglobin were measured over the frequency range 150kHz-100MHz. To minimize errors of measurement the investigations were carried out with three different samples of each type of haemoglobin, independent apparatus being used in two different laboratories. The dielectric increment and relaxation time w...

Anomalous dielectric relaxation of water molecules at the surface of an aqueous micelle.

Dielectric relaxation of aqueous solutions of micelles, proteins, and many complex systems shows an anomalous dispersion at frequencies intermediate between those corresponding to the rotational motion of bulk water and that of the organized assembly or macromolecule. The precise origin of this anomalous dispersion is not well-understood. In this work we employ large scale atomistic molecular d...

Dielectric behaviors of corrugated membranes

We have employed our recently developed Green’s function formalism to study the dielectric behavior of a model membrane, formed by two periodic interfaces separating two media of different dielectric constants. The Maxwell’s equations are converted into a surface integral equation; thus it greatly simplifies the solutions and yields accurate results for membranes of arbitrary shape. The integra...

Dielectric relaxation of DNA aqueous solutions.

We report on a detailed characterization of complex dielectric response of Na-DNA aqueous solutions by means of low-frequency dielectric spectroscopy (40 Hz-110 MHz). Results reveal two broad relaxation modes of strength 20<Deltaepsilon(LF)<100 and 5<Deltaepsilon(HF)<20, centered at 0.5 kHz<nu(LF)<70 kHz and 0.1 MHz<nu(HF)<15 MHz. The characteristic length scale of the low-frequency (LF) proces...

Photocatalytic efficiency of CuFe2O4 by supporting on clinoptilolite in the decolorization of acid red 206 aqueous solutions

In this paper CuFe2O4, nanocrystalline powders were prepared. Also, the supported Cu ferrite was obtained by impregnation of the supports with Cu and Fe nitrates solutions, for calcination temperature 450 ºC. The samples were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). Photocatalytic degradation of acid red 206 in water was studied. CuFe2...
